Campus Location Mastery

When should I book my graduation session?
For regalia sessions, I recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance due to high demand during the two-week window. It's first come, first serve availability. Some students have booked a semester in advance to lock in the best time slots. Senior portrait sessions offer much more flexibility with 2-3 weeks notice.
What happens if it rains on the day of our session?
I always have backup indoor locations ready, including beautiful covered areas around campus. We can also reschedule within the regalia window if there are slots left.
Can family members join the session?
Absolutely! Family members are welcome for portions or the entire session. I'm experienced at coordinating large groups and making everyone feel comfortable.
What should I wear besides regalia?
Bring whatever outfit you think reflects you! A white or floral dress / suit is a tried and true classic. But there are no rules! One of my clients rocked a red jumpsuit another a green suit! You can also bring jackets or blazers to layer or switch out for a couple more professional photos. Feel free to also bring props like thesis binders, stuffed animals, scrubs/a stethoscope, gavel, or something fun that reflects you!
How do I prepare for being photographed?
The most important preparation is getting enough sleep and staying hydrated. I'll guide you through everything else—from posing to location logistics.
Do you provide graduation caps and gowns?
No, you'll need to bring your own regalia. Your university provides these. Keep in mind that some universities only provide this during the two weeks before commencement. I recommend unwrapping your regalia at least the day before and hanging it in the shower or steaming it. It’s also a good idea to bringing a lint roller for the day of.
Can we include my friends in some photos?
Yes! Friend group photos are very popular. Just coordinate with them in advance and let me know during our consultation so I can plan adequate time.
